Goals of the Course
This program is designed to offer a sequences of courses that provides rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare students for employment in the web/multimedia industry.

Graded Course Components
Your term grade will be determined as follows:
10% Work Habits 10% Quality of work
40% Average of tests 40% Applications, Assignments and projects
Wiki Participation
Will be reviewed by projects, rubric, and peer review
Class Schedule/Assignments
Assignments and announcements are posted under each course title. Online student responsibility includes logging into Blackboard daily and checking email. It is imperative to stay on schedule (See Pacing chart) for each term in order to complete the program competencies within the scheduled time hours
Examinations
Online Tests
All online review tests grades are averaged. Failure to take tests as scheduled will result in a 10% per day reduction in grade. Makeup tests must be taken within one week of the original test date.

Step by step assignments and projects are designed to assist you in mastering the skills necessary for success in industry. Additional materials are available on the web in Blackboard.

Incomplete Grades
According to the university, the grade of "incomplete" is reserved for "exceptional cases, where an unanticipated event beyond ones control interferes with a student's completion of course requirements."
Course Grade
Grading is on a straight scale (no curve), with 90%, 80%, 70%, 60% guaranteeing A-, B-, C-, and D- respectively. Remember that attendance is required and missing class can result in a grade reduction or even a failing grade.
